Hand-Foot coordination ⁣ ⁣ Coordination is seriously important to the efficiency by which we move. ⁣ ⁣ If we optimise the way we coordinate our body we will find that we get stronger, faster and more gracefully looking too 💃😎⁣ ⁣ Coordination just like strength, running or a mobility/warm up routine can be done in a specific way for a specific purpose. ⁣ ⁣ But I find the general stuff very fascinating. I’m pretty sure that this drill, which you can see in the video, is one I created based on another one I learnt at the @fightingmonkey_rootlessroot course a couple of years ago. ⁣ ⁣ This particular one is not really to prep me for a specific thing. It will engage my body and brain to be more alert and ready for exercise though. ⁣ ⁣ As an extra, movements that challenges coordination are excellent exercises for letting the creativity flow pre- or post-workout. ⁣ ⁣ I like the process of taking a coordination drill and practice it to the point where I go beyond relying on a heavy mental focus, and integrate it into a rhythm that my body can ’embody’ and replicate without having to think about it. ⁣ ⁣ The physical body is faster than the mental body so it makes sense to get these practices adopted by the body past that initial cerebral state. ⁣ ⁣ If you look closely at me in the video you can see how I am needing to think about it. That’s because it is new to me, I am learning. ⁣ ⁣ Have a go at it. Do it together with me in the video and see what the process is like for you, going from a beginner to knowing the coordination drill well. ⁣ ⁣ Aaand, if it is easy for you from the get go why not try and speed it up? ⁣🤓 ⁣ Let me know how you go 🙂⁣ [FT]
