The observation of these details is then added to the neurological image of the same movements we perform at speed. This enhanced neurological image leads to an increase in understanding of complexity and alignment thereby increasing the potential for speed and power. Therefore, the old adage- Slow is smooth and smooth is fast. This finding was first ingrained in me when working with collegiate track athletes and noticing how incredibly slow they walked to and from class. You could pretty much tell who was the fastest on the team by who walked the slowest. However, it has just occurred to me as the leaves fall to the ground, that this farm is slowly turning upside down, and if this place could talk about the love inside, it would say it’s always much better when you’re around. #rootsfitness #slowingdown #breathemoverelax #oneloveoneheartonepeopleoneplantonemomentonedecisiontimetomakeupyourmind A post shared by Movement Based Farmer (@rootsfitness_portland) on Nov 26, 2019 at 9:35am PST
