View this post on Instagram The head in tuck position is one hell of an exposer. ⠀ Aside from putting the shoulders into the end range, the head in position will mess with your balance. As the head rolls through, you take away the static point that you are used to gazing at. ⠀ I find this useful for understanding the balance over technique. Not to be confused, technique should not be disregarded. ⠀ I really dig this one because of it’s inherent danger factor as the slightest distraction can be compromising for my left shoulder. ⠀ It’s a bit of a mind fuck looking at your knees while putting your focus into the shoulders and hands and trying to make sense of it all. ⠀ All hail the tuck, grand exposer of the suck. ⠀ #mobility #mobilitytraining #tuckhandstand #handstandpractice #handstanddrills #handstandlove A post shared by Nelson Cuadras (@nelsoncuadras) on Jul 19, 2019 at 11:38am PDT

View this post on Instagram My left wrist got a bit swollen from too much volume in my one arm training so have to reroute for a few days. ⠀ Inspired by my buddy @ianbreal to work on my headstands and then remembered that forearm stands and hollow backs are a thing so thought I might give them a shot. ⠀ Theres so many levels to all of this and it’s easy for me to forget that I fell in love with all of this when I was exposed to this broader perspective of practice. ⠀ Injury time is a great time to get creative with a practice instead of defaulting to lazy mode. I can either spend my limited energy complaining about my injury or I can spend that same energy learning something new and progressing in another area. ⠀ Surrender to your reality and life does some great things for you. ⠀ #hollowback #hollowbackhandstand #forearmstand #mobilitytraining #shoulderworkout #brickellmiami #miamibeach #miamifitness #fitmiami A post shared by Nelson Cuadras (@nelsoncuadras) on Jul 20, 2019 at 2:14pm PDT
